This is a very interesting letter about our Brazzle, Wilkie and Gano families. I received a copy of this letter and envelope in 2001 from another family researcher – she nor I know who wrote it but I am placing a copy online to preserve it.
Written on the back of the envelope “Grandfather Brazzell died when Uncle Tom was 4 days old.” Bethany, Harrison County Mo.
Elizabeth Wilkie Gano Wright died in 1932 and Uncle Tom died in 1926 so it would have been written between these dates.
Elizabeth Wilkie Gano Wright smoked a clay pipe to relieve toothache pain.
She kept her pipe and tobacco in a pocket down in her skirt.
